In Uncategorized on November 20, 2009 at 10:35 am

The Nervous Breakdown has a new look! Congratulations to Brad Listi (our guest on the GSpot on December 11th) and company for pulling off a fantastic makeover. I  will be starting a new podcast there soon, called “A Cup of TNB“, which will feature short interviews with the many TNB writers. I’ll be at Book Soup tonight, recording my first show: a chat with D.R. Haney, author of Banned for Life . Expect announcements soon regarding the schedule for “A Cup of TNB“.

Big changes coming here to this network. A complete rewrite and redesign of Alterati, Piltolite, Greylodge, and PODLAFF is coming this winter. We will probably be off-line for a month or so as we roll it all up and begin to roll out the new stuff. Alterati, PodLaff and Piltolite will be merging into something new, currently code-named Hukilau. However, right now, we can say no more. We will continue to put out GSpots every 2 weeks, and will leave up an archive page of the last 4 0r 4 episodes, while we hammer and saw behind the curtain. We are aiming for a 2010 relaunch of the new project and we think you’re going to LOVE it. Until then, be well and we’ll see you in the new year.

Fear and Loathing on the Internet: Redux (Part 2)

Part two of the three part series Fear and Loathing on the Internet: Redux (Part one here)

GPod Radio host Joseph Matheny moderates a roundtable discussion on the subject of Myth on the Modern World, with guests: Wes Unruh, James Curcio, John Harrigan, Lucy Allin, P. Emerson Williams and Anna Young. (Note: When I recorded the intros to part one and two, I forgot to mention Wes as a participant in the roundtable. He is however introduced in the actual roundtable piece and is a major contributor to the conversation. My omission was simply due to being overworked with too little time. Hopefully he will not hate me for this oversight. )

Also, the first installment of In Your Ear, some tidbits about the Y project and some ranting and raging in response to the mailbag.

In part three we will introduce another regular segment to the GSpot, A Concise Guide To Setting Yourself On Fire

with Kara Rae Garland.

Part Three coming in about 2 weeks. Enjoy!
